I hate the Word ‘Customer’.<\/p>\n
As a passenger I keep being refereed to as a ‘customer’,
\neven thought as a ‘citizen’ I part own the public transport
\nwhich I use.<\/p>\n
Within libraries I keep hearing the expression
\n‘Library Customers’, even though they might better be
\nrefereed to as Library Users.<\/p>\n
The word customer is defined as someone who buys goods
\nor services.<\/p>\n
Call me a linguistic pedant, but just how am I buying
\nsomething from myself?<\/p>\n
This is why it’s about time we should all refuse to use that
\nugly work, & go back to the use the word ‘Passenger’ as
