Preamble to a manifesto for Library & Information
\nworkers.<\/p>\n
We the landless urban poor.<\/p>\n
We who help all.<\/p>\n
We whose skills and labour enriches all.<\/p>\n
High skilled
\n&
\nLow Payed.<\/p>\n
We who help others to achieve a better life.<\/p>\n
We who help to educate all.<\/p>\n
We who help all of society to work better,
\nplay harder,
\nand
\nachieve both healthier & happier lives.<\/p>\n
We fiscally impoverished Library & information workers. <\/p>\n
All we ask for is a living wage,
\n&
\njust enough so that we no longer have to live in poverty,
\nor
\nare forced to live in slums.<\/p>\n
We the landless Urban poor.<\/p>\n
High skilled. <\/p>\n
Low payed.<\/p>\n
