Most advertisements make a presumption about both ones
\nlifestyle,
\nand\u00a0 those social values which do not apply to me.<\/p>\n
I also know just which lines tend to show that I\u2019m about to be
\nconned out of my money.<\/p>\n
So – Here is a check-list of those words\u00a0 or expression which will
\nnever work on me: –<\/p>\n
– Mortgage.<\/p>\n
– Credit card(s).<\/p>\n
– Take away food menu(s).<\/p>\n
– Cable Television.<\/p>\n
– Mobile phone.<\/p>\n
– Retirement & funeral plans.<\/p>\n
– Loan offers.<\/p>\n
– Celebs.<\/p>\n
– \u2018 As seen on TV \u2019.<\/p>\n
– Branded goods.<\/p>\n
– Christmas.<\/p>\n
– Sports sponsorship.<\/p>\n
– Corporate sponsorship.<\/p>\n
– The Olympics and all that goes with it.<\/p>\n
– The internal combustion engine.<\/p>\n
– Offers for two.<\/p>\n
– Anything which says \u2018family friendly\u2019.<\/p>\n
– Upgrade(s).<\/p>\n
– New\u00a0 or Exciting.<\/p>\n
&<\/p>\n
– Special offer.<\/p>\n
Now I could write something about those words and expressions
\nwhich might work on me,
\nbut I just don\u2019t want to deal with yet more spam or junk mail.<\/p>\n
