This years UDT 2014<\/a> [ Underwater \u2018Defence\u2019 Technology ]
\narms fare and conference will take place in Liverpool between June 10th and 12th.<\/p>\n

This is an event which its organisers describe as:
\n\u2018 The global event for underwater defence and security.\u2019<\/p>\n

It is an arms fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is being organised by the <\/a>Clarion Events who run DSEI.<\/a><\/p>\n

&<\/p>\n

The UK Trade & Investment Defence & Security Organisation<\/a>, which exists to help arms manufactures to export their weapons around the world.<\/p>\n


\nThe Deadly Merchants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Such well know Arms manufacturers such as
\n– BAE Systems,
\n– Babcock International Group,
\n– James Fisher Defence,
\n&
\n– Lockheed Martin,
\nwill be exhibiting their deadly products at the event.<\/p>\n

Lesser known companies such as
\n– BMT Defence Services,
\n– Drumgrange Ltd,
\n&
\n– SeeByte
\nwill also be exhibiting their products at the event.<\/p>\n

The Deadly Buyers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At UDT 2013 event there were representatives from 44 countries.<\/p>\n

Such as:-<\/p>\n

– Colombia,
\n– Israel,
\n– the Russian Federation,
\n&
\n– United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

The most telling fact is that this included individuals from China, Japan, & South Korea.<\/p>\n

– All of which are involved in territorial despites with each other.<\/p>\n

– All of which are involved in miliary stand-offs in the region.<\/p>\n

Protest!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merseyside Peace Network<\/a> will be holding a protest outside of the event from 08.30. on the morning of June 10th.<\/p>\n

On the last day of UDT 2014 a wreath will be presented to the organisers of the arms fare.<\/p>\n
