{"id":569,"date":"2015-08-24T07:57:48","date_gmt":"2015-08-24T06:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theproject.me.uk\/?p=569"},"modified":"2015-08-24T07:58:50","modified_gmt":"2015-08-24T06:58:50","slug":"what-next-for-new-build","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.theproject.me.uk\/?p=569","title":{"rendered":"What Next For New Build ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Here is a thought or two about nukiller new build.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Looking at all the companies &amp; countries which want to do it we find: &#8211;<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clickgreen.org.uk\/news\/national-news\/126381-exclusive-edf-mothballs-planned-hinkley-c-nuclear-power-site.html\" target=\"_blank\">EDF has suspended all work on its planned Hinkley C<\/a> nukiller plant.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>That goes hand in hand with the companies financial crisis.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>&#8211; The Chinese stock market is falling, and so they might have to re-finance what they are doing.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>&#8211; While <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2015\/07\/15\/us-toshiba-accounting-charges-idUSKCN0PP1FN20150715\" target=\"_blank\">Toshiba has just taken a two to three Billion Dollar loss<\/a>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b><a href=\"http:\/\/asia.nikkei.com\/Business\/Companies\/Earnings-review-to-force-Toshiba-to-post-FY2014-loss\" target=\"_blank\">That follows on from the companies earlier financial scandals<\/a>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>All of which make me wonder just what the future will hold for these companies, and whether they are really willing to chance their money in such investments.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>At this stage all we can do is specular upon just how this will play out over the next year to eighteen months.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a thought or two about nukiller new build.
